What’s the difference b/w a PPS & a Police Officer?
Here we could give you a really long-winded answer, rather: Police Officers are sworn officers who affect arrests and are responsible for protecting and serving their respective communities. Personal Protection Specialists differ in that our responsibility is solely with our respective Client/Principal. Even more importantly, Police Officers are those you would call when an illegal act has occurred, whereas PPS Agents are those you would call when you seek personal protection…
What goes into protecting a Principal?
There are so many things that go into protecting a Principal, but if there is one word to sum it up, it would be: Preparation. Preparation is key to what we do: we’re always thinking ahead for in our business, we have to be right every time. Being prepared, thus being right ensures that our customer can do his/her job without issue.

Are your agents armed?
It really does depend and we really don’t discuss it beyond our clients. Armed or not, rest assured two things: (1) that your agent(s) has/have all the necessary certifications, skills, and training to carry; as well (2) that he/she is capable of ensuring your personal safety whether they are carrying or not. To be clear: whenever an agent has to pull his/her weapon, it is because a lot of things leading up to that moment went wrong.
